February 11, Wednesday. We ordered sandwiches from room service last night as Debbie now has a bad cold. We stayed in and went to bed early and have had a busy day today. We went to breakfast in the dining room and met some really nice people from Australia and then spoke with Sonja for a while and gave her the pictures of the kids with her from the Thanksgiving cruise. She got a kick out of that. We went to trivia then with Karen and Kay and we won and got genuine plastic medals. We went on a galley tour and Sonja was on the tour with us and that was fun since I got to see where the Warm Chocolate Melting Cake comes from and we saw it in the oven for today! We went to the Web center and found the guy and had him get our minute package and charges straightened out and then went to a cooking demo in the Pinnacle restaurant (their only pay restaurant) and they gave samples of everything they made which started with a red pepper soup which was really good, then beef stroganoff which was also good and a citrus cheesecake which was good too. That was fun and we had enough that we will skip lunch for today. We went to music trivia and did well but so did everyone else so we didn’t win, then we went to the lecture on Rio. Now we are back to check emails and get Debbie more medicine and we will get ready for dinner. Tomorrow we are in Salvadore which is our last port before Rio which everyone is really looking forward to. It is really hot today and I would have been to the pool but too much other going on out there and it was crowded. Funship Freddy was giving autographs and taking pictures out there today. I will update after we get back on the ship tomorrow.
