February 15, Sunday. Nothing to report today as I was sick and Debbie stayed in and played Bookworm while I slept. We ordered room service and went back to bed. We had to cancel dinner with Michelle and Joe and Barbara and Bob In the Pinnacle. They were the two couples we hung out with while being held hostage for 9 hours in Ft. Lauderdale.
Februrary 16, Monday. I woke up this morning with a cold and still feel crappy but not as bad as yesterday. We have to pack today so it has been caos around the ship with people getting ready to get off and others like us changing cabins for the second leg. We got the Shellback certificates from Carnival tonight and they are cute for crossing the Equator which proclaim that we are now “cooler than the other side of the pillow” having crossed. Very Cute. We are told there will be another ceremony for rounding Cape Horn. Tomorrow we will be in Buenos Aires and already we are seeing Montevideo, Uraguay from our balcony. Tomorrow as soon as the ship is cleared, we have a tour with Deb, Karen, Kay, Janis & Richard to cruise the Tiger and Delta rivers and then something else after lunch. More on that tomorrow.
